Update 10 June 2025: Darren the service guy is a gem. Calm, matter of fact, knowledgeable. Unfortunately there's nothing that can fix my particular oven but he gave suggestions on how best to manage it. Kudos to Darren for his clear explanations and practical knowledge.

I got Darren's contact online after reading positive reviews about the company's service. To be honest I was prepared to let my oven "retired", after all it had served us well for more than 12 years. I fully expect a high quote for the repair. To my pleasant surprise, Darren said the only issue is the faulty thermostat and my oven will be fine. He was patient and polite throughout the servicing. I would highly recommend his service to anyone. And for the first time in weeks, we got to bake a lovely lemon poppy seed cake without burning it.

Andrea was prompt in responding to my whatsapp inquiry and an appointment was quickly scheduled. Darren arrived on-site punctually and called me to explain the issue with my oven in detail as i was at work. He offered me 2 solutions and the oven was fixed very quickly. Although a tad costly, the warranty, efficiency and fuss-free experience made it all worth it.

I had a built in oven with faulty heating element. I tried calling the supplier, the supplier said they didnt have the part. Then I tried calling the official Ariston customer service. It turned out Ariston outsourced it to Whirlpool, and there was nobody answering my call (they had a 1* rating).

So I called these guys instead. They fixed my oven in an hour. I'm really happy with the entire experience.

Mr Darren was prompt in answering my whatsapp messages and arranging the appointment. Arrived within the time mentioned. Quick in trouble shooting my Ariston oven tripping problem and provided valuable and cost saving solution; rewired my oven which has not been used for years repair comes with 5 years warranty! He is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He also shared with me some baking tips using my oven and other general knowledge on how to combat humidity in our weather. Kudos to him.

My Ariston Maxi oven control switch was faulty resulting power off when baking a cake halfway. I contacted Mexif on Wednesday late at nite and spoken to Darren about the problem. At the same time one of my Ariston burners Is not working and I am surprised that he could fix it. He explained about the costs and arranged to come on Thursday morning but I had appointment and he rescheduled for 8pm. He fixed the burner within 10mins. As he need to purchase the control switch for the oven, he came on Saturday to fix it.
I also have a Baby Belling oven which I didn't use for a long time and it did cause power trip when I used it. Darren assured that he can repair with a permanent solution with 5 years warranty. I took the offer.
I am impressed with the professional service rendered by Darren and his clear explanation of the problems of my 3 appliances. I would certainly recommend Mexif to my friends.

Hello! I have lived in Singapore for nearly 20 years and have dealt with what feels like a million service technicians and never have I had an experience like I did today. Every time I call I muster my energy to communicate and get accurate service--mostly due to my lack of speaking a local language. I even try to fix as much stuff on my own as I can. My oven stopped working and I went to the Internet today, searched and tried a new company. They communicated with me via WhatsApp, asked for photos and an hour later, on a Saturday, in walks a young technician with his tool bag. We had a conversation about my oven, my other kitchen appliances drawing power from same outlets and he fixed it. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree with Honours from NUS and has worked for the company for two years. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

My Ariston Oven was faulty due to non usage for few years. I need to seek professional advice to repair or buy a new one. At the same time I need the measurement of the oven to build a oven cabinet at my new house urgently. Being a first time home-owner, having our built-in oven trip on us was quite a harrowing experience. I’m really glad that we decided to engage Mexif for this.

Ariston Oven repair – For tripping
Ovens draw a large amount of current from the power point, overload due to moisture in the oven due to under usage can cause tripping. A shorted component can also cause built in ovens to trip the entire unit. Be wary of electricians who advise you to replace the circuit breakers in the DB Box as they rarely fail.
