Darren came over to fix my oven and microwave which were causing a power trip as it they have not been used in a while. He does his work quickly and seems knowledgeable and the service was done quickly. But it is ridiculously overpriced. He charged me $290 for the oven and $390 for the microwave + $50 transport fee, making it $730 in total for a 20 minute job. The same person worked on two appliances so I don’t see why a discount wasn’t offered. You can’t justify $730 for 20 minutes in my opinion. I had asked him for a rough charge over the phone and explained the issue, but he didn’t want to give me one over the phone even though power trip seems to be quite a common problem. The customer has already paid $50 for transport and in desperation, pays the rest to get these appliances to work. They tell you there are two options, one being more expensive than the other and the cheaper option being “just as good” so you go for the second. Truth be told, the second option is still unreasonably overpriced. I can understand paying in the low hundreds, under $500 at the most, for a professional quick fix. But $730 for 20 minutes, come on, that’s daylight robbery. Not justified at all when it’s the same person who fixed both appliances in such a short time.

I had a problem with the temp of the oven that has gone erratic and was spoiling my bakes. I thought I had to get a new one but decided to try and get it repaired instead . I googled and found this company with the best reviews. Just as the others had said, Darren came punctually and solved the problem which was simply to change the thermostat. He also gave useful advise on how to manage the baking elements of my oven. No regrets calling him and I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Mexif has customers needs as their top priority. From their friendly and responsive CSO to their prompt and efficient mechanical engineer.I was surprised that they also operate on Sundays. The engineer came down to take a look at my built in Ariston wall oven that is probably over 10years old. Told him what is wrong with it, he analysed the situation, gave me the diagnosis, gave me 2 solutions, I chose one and within 30-45mins it was resolved. Mexif is the way to go. Thanks guys!

My oven breakdown on Saturday, 5pm when I'm about to bake my hari raya cookies. I did a Google search on oven repair services and found Mexif. Darren answered my call and he managed to squeeze an appointment for me the next day. Darren is punctual. He knows his job well and explained to me what's wrong. Within half an hour, it all fixed and my oven is alive again. He has given 2 months warranty and I think that's a big plus.If you have problem with your oven, I totally recommend Mexif for oven repair services. 👍🏼

I’m a hobby baker & my oven broke down on Friday morning, just before I bake & one day before delivery the cake. I found this compay by google searched so I called with very little hope that they can come by a short notice but the lady name Andrea understood my situation after I explained to her & arranged Darren to come at 2.30-4.30pm. Darren arrived at my houst at 1.45pm & changed the temperatunre knob & wired. My oven was starting to work again. I can’t thank you them enough. Highly recommended to everyone 👍👍👍

Was searching the web for oven repair after my 7yr old Rowenta oven died on me on Christmas Day. Chanced upon Mexif and decided to give them a shot. Their response was efficient and swift. I found this mexif company on carosel and i did not think twice to contact them go straight away to chat them to seek their advise about my electrolux built in oven , then i ask for schedule to service or repair. My built in Bosch oven causes power tripping as it was not used for a couple of years. Found this oven repair company through carousell. Contacted them and Darren attended to me. He came and fixed it within 30 mins! The whole process was fuss free and he gave a permanent solution and provided tips on maintaining the oven, and assured it will not happen again. Our Baby Belling oven was blacking out our entire house whenever we tried to use it and chanced upon MEXIF repair while I was googling oven repairs in Singapore. Very responsive to messages. Appointment was made for them to come by on the same day. Darren arrived within arranged time slot and quickly proceeded to check on my oven that has tripped. A diagnosis was made and several remedy options were offered for my decision, together with explanation, pros and cons and costs for each option. Upon my go-ahead, Darren started work immediately and everything was done in no time. He even gave some tips on how to better manage my oven. Service came with warranty. The company is actually called Mexif. Darren came punctually and fixed my out of production Baby Belling oven on site quickly. Repairs were done within less than an hour. Clear explanations were given to explain the problem as well as tips on how to handle the oven. Reasonable pricing. Gave a 5 year warranty for his repair, a very confident claim. :).

Thoroughly unpleasant customer experience. The person on the phone has no customer focus and is extremely unprofessional. Like others on the list I had the misfortune of encountering a horrible lady on the phone who yelled at me when I asked for a range of what the services could cost for oven repair.It costs $50 for get an estimate the repair costs. This is about ten percent of the price of a new oven. So it would be helpful to know the typical range repair cost. If it is usually 100-200 then it may be worth it, if it is typically more then it is perhaps best to save the $50.Rather than making a potential customer comfortable this banshee from hell not only avoided answering the question but yelled at me. I felt like I had committed a crime in asking for the typical range of fees. Im not sure why the hard working technicians are being let down by a troglodyte in front office. She really should consider a career with an Ah Long.

Andrea was prompt in responding to my whatsapp inquiry and an appointment was quickly scheduled. Darren arrived on-site punctually and called me to explain the issue with my oven in detail as i was at work. He offered me 2 solutions and the oven was fixed very quickly. I had a built in oven with faulty heating element. I tried calling the supplier, the supplier said they didnt have the part. Then I tried calling the official Ariston customer service. It turned out Ariston outsourced it to Whirlpool, and there was nobody answering my call (they had a 1* rating).So I called these guys instead. They fixed my oven in an hour. I'm really happy with the entire experience.

Was just trying to get an estimated quote for an oven which i hv clearly indicated the issue, one rudely responded to me with all CAPS and repeated 3 times that they can only quote after their assessment with checking and tpt fee $50. Unlike others who can at least give an estimated value, this one HP's ending with 2150 just brushed me off with the 3 repeated statements. Boo, thumbs down.

Mr Darren was prompt in answering my whatsapp messages and arranging the appointment. Arrived within the time mentioned. Quick in trouble shooting my Ariston oven tripping problem and provided valuable and cost saving solution; rewired my oven which has not been used for years repair comes with 5 years warranty! He is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He also shared with me some baking tips using my oven and other general knowledge on how to combat humidity in our weather. Kudos to him.

My Ariston Maxi oven control switch was faulty resulting power off when baking a cake halfway. I contacted Mexif on Wednesday late at nite and spoken to Darren about the problem. At the same time one of my Ariston burners Is not working and I am surprised that he could fix it. He explained about the costs and arranged to come on Thursday morning but I had appointment and he rescheduled for 8pm. He fixed the burner within 10mins. As he need to purchase the control switch for the oven, he came on Saturday to fix it. I also have a Baby Belling oven which I didn't use for a long time and it did cause power trip when I used it. Darren assured that he can repair with a permanent solution with 5 years warranty. I took the offer. I am impressed with the professional service rendered by Darren and his clear explanation of the problems of my 3 appliances. I would certainly recommend Mexif to my friends.

Hello! I have lived in Singapore for nearly 20 years and have dealt with what feels like a million service technicians and never have I had an experience like I did today. Every time I call I muster my energy to communicate and get accurate service--mostly due to my lack of speaking a local language. I even try to fix as much stuff on my own as I can. My oven stopped working and I went to the Internet today, searched and tried a new company. They communicated with me via WhatsApp, asked for photos and an hour later, on a Saturday, in walks a young technician with his tool bag. We had a conversation about my oven, my other kitchen appliances drawing power from same outlets and he fixed it. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree with Honours from NUS and has worked for the company for two years. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

My Ariston Oven was faulty due to non usage for few years. I need to seek professional advice to repair or buy a new one. At the same time I need the measurement of the oven to build a oven cabinet at my new house urgently. Though repair cost was a bit pricey (cos I only bought the oven second hand @100）but I love my Rowenta oven and tink it is worth repairing with his 5 year guarantee. Punctual. Super neat and tidy at work. Darren carefully removed built in oven out & moves things around carefully in small kitchen . This is important to my hubby (very fussy). I will highly recommend Darren to fix your oven’s issues. Nothing to nitpick on service and follow-up But will need to check how long-lasting the so-called permanent solution will be after a few bakes.
